How well does CIS of Charlotte, NC facilitate parental involvement? (Overall research question)

The following are questions that will assist me in answering my overall research question:

• Is parental involvement important in a child's academic success? If so, to what degree?
• What are the short term and long term effects (both positive and negative) of non-involvement?
• What are the short term and long term effects (both positive and negative) of active involvement?
• Is there a direct correlation between socio-economic level and parental involvement?
• Is there a direct correlation between education level and parental involvment?
